Mattress is the key to proper rest of a cow
If a cow rests well, it gets sick less often and has better appetite, which helps to increase milk yield. Therefore, you shouldn’t ever save on resting places.
Mattress structure
We offer two-layer mattresses. The bottom layer – base of the mattress with thickness 30mm or 50mm and weight 200 or 275 kg/m³ is made of latex!
In order to ensure tightness, the base is packed into polyethylene film (200 micron). The top layer, in its turn, is made of woven polypropylene. It fastens with the help of clamping strips and plugs.
Fixation
Mattress is fixed by plugs with stainless steel washers. The distance between the fasteners amounts to approximately 25 cm. It is laid directly on the concrete surface. Thus, the mattress fits tightly against the floor, doesn’t shift and provides stability to an animal.
Surface
The top of such mattress has grooved surface, which rules out sliding and reduces the risk of falling of a cow.

Protect joints during falling and getting up. Keep a cow’s udder in maximum comfortable conditions.
Improve resting conditions of animals
When a cow has to lie on too rough or cold bedding, it worsens its well-being. The mattress, in its turn, retains heat and doesn’t let in cold, coming from concrete foundation. It creates soft and elastic surface, on which an animal can lie comfortably. With good care milk yields increase drastically
Improve sanitary-and-hygienic capabilities of a farm
The mattresses can be easily washed from any dirt. Moreover, dirt doesn’t end up in gaps between the mattresses, because the fastening system prevents this from happening. It helps to maintain healthy microclimate on a farm.

Resting place on a farm should be soft and comfortable. Otherwise a cow will have a bed rest, eat less and give less milk. However, standard bedding made of straw, as well as thin rubber materials can’t provide decent comfort level.
For this reason, when projecting and building livestock breeding complexes, when it comes to bedding we use multi-layer complexes. Thanks to them, a cow can comfortably rest on the floor, easily get up and lie down, without load on the knee joints.
